Safe Harbor Industrial Arts Program
Safe Harbor IA equipment includes
20 ton boat lift and a 60 ton high lift
a backhoe, front end loader, and fork truck
This equipment is used to teach boys
equipment operation and maintenance according to
National Marine Association standards
They also learn the marketability of the skills they are learning
Safe Harbor DOES NOT do any work for the public, all training is on Safe Harbor owned vessels and is strictly for the training and education and welfare of the students at Safe Harbor.
These are also profitable job skills and at the management level these skills are valuable for understanding the workforce you will manage
While Safe Harbor Boys Home seeks to help each student achieve their goals
upon program completion they leave with enough skills to immediately enter the
management level of employment
